Application process

The programmes are open to all forms of art and culture. The applicant can be an individual or an organisation but in principle funding is not granted to civil servants.

The programmes are open for applications several times a year. For more details, see Application deadlines.

Nordic Culture Point uses an electronic application system. The electronic application form is published at www.kulturkontaktnord.org once the application round has been opened. You can use the application system both to fill your application form and to send your application to Nordic Culture Point. We do not accept paper applications. For more detailed instructions, see Application helpdesk.

We recommend that you prepare your application in good time before the deadline. Please bear in mind that the system does not accept applications after the application round has closed.

There are a large number of applicants, so there is much competition over the funding. Write a good application with a clear description of the project and the budget. Read the assessment criteria for the programmes carefully, they are the basis for selecting the projects that will receive funding.
