Who can apply?
The three modules of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture provide funding as:
Mobility support
- for professional artists and cultural operators in all the fields of art and culture living in the Nordic and the Baltic countries
- from 2012 -> also for minor groups (max. 6 persons) consisting of persons with the same qualifications as above traveling at the same time from the place to the same destination
- funding is not in principle granted to civil servants or officials at state authorities
- students are encouraged to apply for funding through Nordplus
Network support
- for institutions, organisations and artists and practitioners operating at all levels and in all areas of art and culture in the Nordic and the Baltic countries
- priority is given to new networks and collaborative projects that are multicultural by nature and involve various operators in the field of art and culture
- a network should include partners from:
a) no less than 3 Nordic countries or Greenland, Faroe Islads, and Åland or
b) no less than 3 Baltic countries or
c) a combination of no less than 3 partners from the 5 Nordic countries, Greenland, Faroe Islands and Åland or the 3 Baltic countries.
- deviations from this principle can be when there are significant cultural political grounds
- the network may also include partners who are not based in a Nordic or a Baltic country
Support for residencies
- for artists´ residences in the Nordic and Baltic countries in all fields of art and culture
- organisations or groups with new initiatives within the work of artistic residency
- individual artists cannot apply
