Disqualification and publicity

Disqualification

All the applications are processed as professionally, correctly and impartially as possible. An expert who is disqualified will not take part in the application process without informing the chairman of his disqualification, so that the other members of the group are also informed of the situation. The disqualification will be noted in the minutes and/or the decision regarding the application. The experts are responsible for reporting their disqualification themselves. An expert is disqualified with regard to the following types of applications:

  • own application or participation in a joint application with other applicants
  • family or personal relationship with applicant
  • close colleague or employer of the applicant
  • close relationship through some other confidential commission with the applicant's organisation or its representatives

Publication of decisions

All decisions are published on Nordic Culture Point's website. Each applicant receives written notice about the decision. The expert groups do not comment in public on individual decisions.
