Mobility and network funding open for applications

The mobility programme is again open for applications. Two kinds of funding are available on this spring round: support for study visits in the region and support for building new networks. Applications should be submitted electronically to the Nordic Culture Point by 6 May 2009.

Mobility grants are intended for artists and culture professionals residing in one of the Nordic or Baltic countries, who wish to apply for a grant to visit another Nordic or Baltic country. The grant is enough for about a week's subsidy. Those who travel to or from the West Nordic regions, Iceland, Faeroe Islands, and Greenland, can apply for an additional travel grant. The same applies for trips between the Nordic and Baltic countries.

The network funding gives support for building new networks or enlarging existing ones. Networks can consist of individuals, organisations or institutions, at least three of which reside in a Nordic or Baltic country. The spring round allocates funding for one-year networks. Applications for three-year networks can be submitted during the autumn round.
