This was decided in a meeting between the Nordic ministers for culture in the end of April. The decision is part of the overall plan for the cultural cooperation in the Nordic region 2010-2012, and an expression of the overall cultural-political goals.
As before, the programme has no funding quotas, neither for countries nor for the themes. The programme is open also to projects related to other themes, but priority will be given to projects related to children and youth, cultural heritage and cultural diversity.
The programme is now open also for applicants from the amateur culture and volunteer sector.
The next application round for the Culture and Art programme is on 18 August -15 September 2010.
