The change means in practise that the applicants need to wait for the funding decisions before travelling. It takes about two months for the experts to finalise the decisions, and only costs after that date are remunerated from the programme.
Mobility funding is open to all professionals within the fields of art and culture who live in a Nordic or Baltic country or in the self-governing areas. The funding covers the costs of staying one week in a Nordic or Baltic country or a self-governing area. The travelling destination needs to be outside of the applicant’s country of residence.
The change will be applied from the third application round, opening in August 2010.
