Who will win by:Larm's Nordic Music Prize 2011?

Twelve of this year's best Nordic albums are nominated for by:Larm's Nordic Music Prize 2011, to be awarded in Oslo, Norway, in February 2012. by:Larm is an annual music festival and conference for the Nordic music industry.

The price of EUR 20.000 is inspired by the British-Irish Merqury price, and has three objectives: "First to create even stronger unity across the regions industry; second, to further increase international interest and awareness of what the region has to offer musically; and, last but not least, to refocus on the full length album as an art form."

Icelandic Jónsi was awarded the first ever Nordic Music Prize for the album "Go", which he received from Crown Prince Haakon at by:Larm in Oslo in February 2011.

An international jury composed of seven internationally recognized industry people and music writers will choose a worthy winner among the twelve nominees. The Twelve are chosen from among 50 albums, 10 from each of the Nordic countries.

• Malk De Koijn – Toback To The Fromtime

• Siinai – Olympic Game

• Björk – Biophilia

• Iceage – New Brigade

• Montée – Renditions Of You

• Anna Järvinen – Anna Själv Tredje

• Goran Kajfes – X/Y

• The Field – Looping state of mind
