New advisor at the Greenland institute

Thursday, 05 August 2010 08:58

Katja Nyborg is the new communications advisor at the Nordic Institute in Greenland. Her tasks include giving information and advice on the Culture and Art Programme and the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture.

Nordic Culture Point, which is the administrating body for these two culture programmes, has a cooperation arrangement with the Nordic institutes in Greenland and the Åland islands, and the Nordic houses in Iceland and Faroe Islands. The cooperation includes a contribution from the houses and institutes in spreading information of the programmes and in giving advice to the applicants in their respective regions.

A similar arrangement has been made with the Nordic Council of Ministers’ information offices in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, regarding information on the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture. The Baltic countries participate with an equal footing as the Nordic countries and the self-governing areas to the mobility programme.
