Festival support from the EU programme

Organisers of culture festivals can now apply for funding from the EU Culture Programme. The program supports festivals with a European dimension and contributing to the general objectives of the programme (ie. mobility of professionals, circulation of works and intercultural dialogue).
The programme is meant for somewhat established festivals, since the festival needs to have taken place at least five times in order to be eligible. Film festivals are not eligible, as they can apply for funding from the EU Media programme.
The maximum amount of the grant is 100.000 €, representing maximum 60% of the eligible costs. The support can be granted ether for one or for three festival editions.
Deadline for applications for the festival support is 15 November 2010.
