Pohjoismainen näytelmäkirjailijaunioni NDU toimii kattojärjestönä, johon kuuluvat Tanskan, Suomen, Islannin, Norjan ja Ruotsin näytelmäkirjailijoiden ja näytelmäkirjallisuuden kääntäjien etujärjestöt. Pohjoismaiset kustantamot ja teatterit voivat hakea käännöstukea pohjoismaisella kielellä kirjoitetun kirjallisuuden ja draaman kääntämiseen muille pohjoismaisille kielille. Käännöstukea haetaan siitä maasta missä teos on alunperin julkaistu.Käännöstukisopimusta hallinnoi NORLA yhdessä muiden kansallisten kirjallisuuskeskusten kanssa.
