Culture Forum '09

The Culture Forum took place on 23 - 24 of November 2009 in the Embassies of the Nordic countries in Berlin.

The Culture Forum was a part of the discussion about the Nordic regions’ role in a globalised world – about the dialogue between the Nordic region and the rest of the world. Artists and cultural operators have always communicated across borders. Civil servants and politicians have done so as well, although in different ways. How do we make our voices heard outside the Nordic region, do we speak the same “language”? Have our needs or our means for communications changed?

Artists, cultural operators, politicians and civil servants discussed these and other related questions in Berlin.
