The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture has now three new experts. The funding decisions are made by groups consisting of experts from both Nordic and Baltic countries.
The experts work in three smaller groups; one group being responsible for mobility projects, another for networks, and the third for residencies.
Mr Aurdonis Imbrasas, director for Arts Printing House in Vilnius, Lithuania has been appointed as expert in the mobility group, which now has six experts. Ms Astrida Rogule, director for Contemporary Art Museum in Riga, Latvia has joined the network group, now consisting of four experts. And Mr Kaarel Oja, director at theatre NO99 in Tallinn, Estonia is the new expert in the residency group, now totalling four experts.
The mobility programme has now altogether 14 experts. Each of them is a specialist in his or her own field of art or culture, and bring that expertise to the experts group. The experts have an important role in the programme since it is their task to evaluate the applications according to the programme criteria, and to decide which projects will be granted funding.
