Funding for 12 short-term networks

12 projects were granted funding from this year’s first application round for short-term networks of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme. The total funding for all projects was 148 888 euro.
A total of 74 applications were submitted for this application round.
Network funding is granted for projects that contribute to cooperation between artists and cultural operators within the region, and for developing partnerships and learning from each other.
Short-term network funding is granted for projects lasting a maximum of one year. The granted amount can be a maximum of 25 000 euro and 70 percent of the total costs for the project.
Funding can be granted for persons, institutions or organisations residing in a Nordic or Baltic country. Each project needs to involve at least three countries/autonomous regions. The Baltic countries joined the programme in 2009 and participate on equal footing with the Nordic participants.
Next application round for short-term network funding is on 15 September – 3 November 2010. At the same time opens also an application round for long-term networks, supporting projects lasting up to three years.
