All projects should include three countries

In order to strengthen the Nordic and international focus in the projects supported by the Culture and Art Programme, all projects should from now on include at least three Nordic countries or autonomous regions in order to be eligible for funding.

However, projects involving participating countries from outside the Nordic region, it is sufficient to have two Nordic countries or autonomous regions included.

It has earlier been possible to apply for funding through the programme for projects with participants from only two Nordic countries. The adjustment of the programme criteria means that all applications including only two countries will from now on be denied. We recommend this types of projects to seek funding through bilateral funds or different national funding bodies financing international projects.
